With one of the concerns, and doing it well. Even worse, top-notch contenders on Google Play are difficult to recognise among a veritable avalanche of weak cashins and greedy ‘free to play’ titles. Basically, zenonia 4By Gamevil -buy on AndroidDiablo resolutely follows in the great tradition of western fantasy, full of portent, seriousness, and grim tragedy. While pleasing experience at the pinnacle of action ‘role playing’, using identical engine as previous entries in its Legends series, Spacetime Studios has put everything it’s learnt from older iterations into making this a polished.
It’s far from being unfun or unfair.
The designed for uchscreen combat -including fantastic powers like walls of fire and brutal melee swipes -and pnotch graphics and sound more than compensate for these minor shortcomings.
Given it’s free, it’s very much worth your time checking out. With that said, unsurprisingly, Diablo clones abound on Android. That simplicity lets it down occasionally. Arcane Legends tries a problem to replicate the multiplayer vibe of Diablo, albeit more in MMO style than with the looser party associations of its inspiration, the games we’ve highlighted so far are ‘singleplayer’ experiences only. We have our picks for top-notch games with which to get your hack ‘n’ slash fix on the world’s most popular mobile OS. Perhaps best of all, though, is the bewildering array of items you can equip and recombine to kit out your brave adventurer. With some witty and amusing banter between the characters backed up by some sharp writing and a satirical eye, it’s nice to see the ‘pair’ dynamic fully utilised and explored here. Whenever combining powers to take down bigger monsters for better loot, it did so as it offered players the chance to go on adventures gether online. So this one contains lush graphics, rich sound, simple controls, quite a few interesting skill effects, and a decent plot to get your teeth into. There’s that occasionally monotonous palette of foes and level designs. Doesn’t it sound familiar? In this case, that one of the concerns is throwing waves and waves of enemies at you and providing you with a delightfully diverse selection of methods for carving them up.
There’s a lot to be said for the more light hearted approach of Japanese RPGs, and the Zenonia series marries their freedom and feeling of fun with the traditions of the hack ‘n’ slash genre.
Arcane LegendsBy Spacetime Studios -buy on AndroidDiablo didn’t become wildly popular just being that it hit a sweet spot in regards to accessibility and addictiveness.
Well designed interface makes controlling two characters at once a doddle. Saying that, So it’s a little abusive whenever it boils down to the freetoplay elements. You should take this seriously. Perhaps less surprisingly, though, most ‘droid devs have found it terribly difficult to replicate Diablo’s diabolically addictive combination of skill building and equipment combining. While striking a balance between building on older iterations and not becoming better game in the series. Yes, that’s right! Heroes CallBy Defiant Development -buy on AndroidReleased not long after Diablo 3, Heroes Call is in many ways the ultimate interpretation of the genre on Android devices. Whenever facing off against unending hordes of enemies, emissary of WarBy Cedar Hill Games -buy on AndroidMost games in the Diablo style stick with putting you in control of one hero. You take charge of a duo here, emissary of War assumes that double the character is double the fun. It only one you ever need, for there’s a colossal roster of quests to complete, treasures to discover, and monsters to carve into ‘itty bitty’ pieces here.
Whenever forcing you to use your tank character to dish out the pain and protect your more fragile potion lobbing friend from being overwhelmed by monsters, it works surprisingly well.
Whenever making it especially difficult to move over, even if uch controls were integrated for everything on the screen, you still have both left and right click controls for spell and attack casting in the personal computer version.
Resolution was locked lower than most any phone device, the AI was designed around that resolution limitation, and the controls were a lot more keyboard intensive than you might realize. More to the point, DI’s graphics engine barely even runs properly on modern PCs anymore, there’s not much of a way to port it to a Android system. Certainly, a number of them went over to Wildtangent to work on Fate, or over to Runic to work on Torchlight. Nevertheless, side note, Blizzard was a bloody NIGHTMARE back hereafter. Notice that all the guys that worked on DI are gone now, they all left in the Blizz North walkout. Source. I worked on that game.
It can be a bit short and does have IAP but they aren’t unfair ones anyway and I paid for them to support the dev who was VERY supportive and helpful when needed even surprising me by pimping my character out when I filed a support email.
Deprofundis I is an awesome one as well.
Its a little on the short end meaning it doesn’t take that hell of a long time to kqd your character out in p gear but there’s a n of it and different classes to choose from and skill trees.
Only downfall is no multiplayer which kinda sucked cause I’m an an old school hardcore diablo player but all good.dunno if he has released any updates or newer versions though.gonna check that out now but I wish more people got into it cause if so he could’ve made enough to support a truly epic game. New Diablo like hack slash.
The question is. Did you try Mage Minions? Add this on your list Iesabel android diablo alike, letter is esabel. No customer care and they release games while abandoning others, look at pl, discontinued after only couple years of updates and they even call that a mmo. Main problem with android gaming is the greed of such companies, we need more respect. Game is just centered on milking out your dollars and the company is probably amidst the worst we ever well known on mobile. There’s plenty of diablo type games nowaday but please not arcane legends. Of course, new phone means it’s time to give android games another shot.
Hey @Th1nkbot -Thanks for bringing Lightbringers to my attention!
Downloading now, can’t wait to give it a spin on my next day off!
Glad you like the DeProfundis games would have been better suited for this list. Lightbringers. That’s interesting right? Emissary of War is more of a RPG, Zenonia 4 is a RPG, and Arcane Legends is amid the few MMORPG titles offered by spacetime, that is like Blizzards other wildly popular game, WoW) Just putting this out there. Ok, and now one of the most important parts. All great games here.
Three games you left out that are much closer to the diablo franchise than the last three are Dungeon Hunter 4, Dark Avenger, Eternity Warriors I also have to agree with Robbie as DeProfundis are amazing games, To be honest I agree with the first two in the list.
With p p down hack and dungeon crawler. Missing the two that actually treat players and their money with respect. Better weapons and armour developer Thecle is also second to none whenit gets to the relationship he has built with the people that play his game.
You can also import your character into Requiem, gether with your personal gold, items and anything else you had with you via cloud saving features.
That is ‘a as it does it well, oK’ Doesn’t aim to do a great deal more than the first Diablo did.
While meaning if you got rid of the ads in the first game, so this will carry across to the second, buying the cheapest IAP will remove all ads, and quite similar account can be used across both games. DeProfundis and DeProfundis Requiem are two games made by one man team Thecle. Since Titan Quest was Diablo but almost exclusively outdoors, it’s still Diablo, closer to Titan Quest than Diablo. Iesabel is a premium product, and that’s where parting with your money ends. For example, fantastic graphics, great gameplay and a slew of loot all ripe for the taking.
