What does all that negativity leave out?
Starcraft the way where Activision no longer even wants to talk about them. I’m sure you heard about this. It would’ve been insane to me if Blizzard wasn’t working on another expansion at the moment, given how well D3 and Reaper of Souls have sold, and what a great place the game is in at the moment. I’m wondering why it’s taking them long to acknowledge that, if they are working on it. The Auction House was this particular bust it weighed down the entire game until it was cut.

Nonetheless, while expanding beyond Starcraft/Diablo/Warcraft with Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone and Overwatch, and yet, another Diablo 3 expansion is a lay up, Blizzard has loads of plates spinning at the moment. During that time, Diablo 3 has gone from a disastrously launched disappointment to possibly top ARPG ever made, and it has the sales numbers to match.
Of course, it may even be higher on the list now, those are ‘yearold’ numbers. It’s still #10 in with 30 million copies sold, wikipedia’s list of bestselling games of all time many may not understand just how successful Diablo 3 really had been. We are approaching the four year anniversary of the release of Diablo 3, and are just days away from the two year anniversary of Reaper of Souls.
We are four years out from the launch of the original game, and two from Reaper of Souls, the first expansion, as I said. Another expansion seems like a no brainer, Most thought it will be only one expansion. Diablo 3 is a much, much bigger hit.
