This isn’t just theory, my family and I do it quite often.
They play under their own profiles while I am not logged into the console.
It’s my kids that play the most, we purchase nearly everything through my account. Step Recognize that the margin onphysical retailtitles is only a few dollars and that hundreds of the cost is the game’s development and marketing. Realize that this pricing structure is MIRRORED EXACTLY on Sony and Nintendo platforms. Let me tell you something. Step Realize that costs of digital games have ALWAYS been this expensive on Microsoft platforms. Then, the Xbox 360 digital marketplace was no different. Nonetheless, when signed in with really similar account on the other platform you gonna be able to download the game from your ready to install list and jump right in. With all that said… Xbox Play Anywhere will associate your Xbox Live account to the ownership of supported games.
I want to ask you something. Can someone aside from the person who bought the game play it on a computer where That’s a fact, it’s installed?
The game is associated with the console as much as That’s a fact, it’s associated with the account.
On the XB1, Know what, I can buy a game on the console and anyone else in my family can also play it. Of course, since you can just give a disc to your buddy to install and share it around. No, they can’ Discs don’t attach to your account in identical way as digital does. Loads of info can be found on the web. MS account.
I see your point, and MS should need to restrict use of the Xbox disc to your account as well to avoid people taking advantage. Step Watch for frequent digital sales on the marketplace. You are absolutely wrong. Even if I’m not logged in at the moment, Any digital purchases I make can be played by ANYONE on my home console. Every account is associated with a specific console, called the account’s home console. Now let me tell you something. Here’s what you apparently are not familiar with. Also, i can play my digital purchases on other consoles like a friend’s console.
My question is whether there might be the concept of a home rig just as lots of us know that there is the concept of a home console. Can my kids play it without logging into my Windows account, if I buy a game for computer. It could be on phones to, Low end laptop the store wont we must download a certain game that demands a High end or a Mid end laptop, look, there’re a lot of phones today way stronger that as an example its only available on personal computer and it recomends a core 2 Duo 2GHz and 3GB or RAM, phones already have this hardware and more, thence why a laptop with less hardware than the recomended can download and play the game and the phones can’t?
I’d say in case it is UWP, Universal, Play Anywhere, thence i guess they should at least honnor those names they put in and make those apps/games available on all plataforms as it should and make it up to us decide where to play, of curse since we have enough hardware be it on rig or Mobile or One or Scorpio, just as And so it’s on PCfor example, what about light weight games like 2D plataformers they can be played on a surface book very well.
Microsoft just have to put some sort of warning on store before downloadingtelling that the hardware ins’t enough to play that certain game.
